AFFORDABLE NATIONAL TRAINING
Only a Nationally Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) will instruct your class. We believe in making education accessible, which in Madison means making it cost effective. Our instruction is top rated!
We will not use, promote, or support the use of shock, pinch, prong, or choke collars. We pledge to help your family use positive reinforcement-based training methods only.
A variety of classes are offered included family pet-dog obedience, tricks, nose games, and more! Taproot is known for having intimate class sizes where students and trainers build relationships that go beyond the classroom.
We believe that everyone who lives with a dog should be involved with training. If children are ready for class then we're happy to support them!
REAL LIFE-BASED CURRICULA
Classes are based on the latest in research and training methods AND take place in both classroom and out of classroom spaces. Take to the sidewalks and local shops with City Dog Levels 3 & 4! All ages & breeds of dogs welcome!
WE KNOW LITTLES
No where else in Madison will you find in-depth knowledge of small breed dogs. We love and work with dogs of all sizes, and we understand how small dogs experience the world much differently.
We've worked with ESAs who live in a variety settings, including college campuses. We understand that there's more to an ESA than being a family pet dog. We also help therapists to train their dogs to work on specific skills within the client setting.
Cats and dogs not coexisting well together is one of the top reasons why animals are surrendered at shelters. Taproot is committed to helping dogs and cats learn how to share space.
PROUD TRAINER OF BULLY BREEDS
We love our bully breed pals and their pet parents. An often misunderstood grouping of dogs, we'll help humans to appreciate their unique traits.
